How to reboot or restart an Auditor device
Turn the device off for at least 30 seconds before turning it back on again.
Devices may sometimes go offline due to changes in the communications network or potentially due to a fault at the site that may interrupt the power supply to the Auditor.
In this situation, it may be necessary to power cycle your device to reboot or restart it.
For devices that are installed on Commercial or Industrial premises, we strongly encourage consulting someone with adequate knowledge around the switchboard (e.g. Facility Manager or Electrician) before performing the power cycle.
Power cycling a Wattwatchers device only requires turning off the breaker or main switch supplying power to the Auditor for at least 30 seconds before turning it back on. No panels need to be removed to access the Wattwatchers Auditor device or the wiring.
If this process does not work or there are no status indicator lights on the front of your device, turn it off for 2 minutes before turning it back on again.
If this process does not work, you are uncomfortable or have any concerns, please contact your installer or a licensed electrician.
